Elliott’s Doggy Daycare & Boarding

Elliott’s Doggy Daycare & Boarding is a local pet care business offering dog daycare and boarding services. The goal of this project was to create a playful and approachable brand identity that reflects the friendly yet professional care the business provides. The challenge was to create a brand identity that would stand out in a crowded market and provide flexibility for use across digital and physical media.

I began by researching competitors and identifying common themes in pet care branding. Many local businesses used overly generic paw-print logos and muted colour palettes. I wanted this identity to feel unique, memorable, and vibrant, appealing to dog owners who value high-quality care and a personable service. I started exploring concepts through sketching and eventually developed a logo in Adobe Illustrator based on the idea that the name Elliott could represent a dog. After finalising the logo suite, I chose typography that complimented the playful nature of the logo, and a fun, friendly colour palette.

This project was a great exercise in balancing playfulness with professionalism. The final design incorporates bold typography, fun visuals, and custom iconography that represents the type of service offered by the brand. I also extended the brand across mockups and social media media templates, ensuring it worked in multiple contexts and showcasing the logo and design in action.
